Not long after this there was a foiled attack in Jordan from a militant group with Sarin gas. I wonder where they got that.

There was an episode of ABC’s “Nightline” with Ted Koppel about six or seven years ago in which Ted played some audio tapes made by an Iraqi general.
The tapes were in Arabic, and through an interpreter, the Iraqi general on the audio tapes claimed that in the summer of 2002, Saddam Hussein flew planeloads of chemical weapons from Iraq to Syria.
There apparently was a dam collapse in Syria and the planes were dispatched to Syria with humanitarian aid, but in reality carried Saddam Hussein’s chemical weapons, according to this Iraqi general.
Anyone else see this episode?
I heard about that on talk radio. I didn’t remember it was on “Nightline”.
And the Russian-Iraqi truck convoy went to Syria too. But now with Obama the world’s islamoNazi terrorists get direct weapons supplies anyway. ....
The biggest breaking news story in world history is that an Al Qaeda army on the march to Baghdad has overrun an old Iraqi WMD facility and has acquired equipment useable for WMD components. Combine that with the chlorine gas factory they overran in Syria and the story is dreadful, and best to not cover at all, apparently. Combine Chlorine Gas and Rocket Artillery canisters if you want to get the picture.
And miss the fragrant aroma?! lol

Bill Gertz, national security reporter for the Washington Times, reported the story in some detail.
There was also the "lost" New York Times story fairly early in the war that some WMDs stored in a silo our troops were guarding somehow escaped from the silo. (Of course, that would mean there were actual WMD's, wouldn't it?)

Gertz has had a number of real looking news stories. When I see his name I always stop to read it.
