I don’t know alot of these star recipient but I’m pretty much a pop culture illiterate.
But congradulations to Larry Elder. I used to listen to him all of the time and am glad that he’s back on the air.

Enjoyed Larry Elder while in SoCal. Did his mom pass away?
IIRC, you have to apply first (or someone makes the application for you). Then a committee (it used to be just Johnny Grant) decides if you are important enough to warrant a Star. If you are important enough, it costs $5,000 plus to get it. I remember there was one person who said his fans could raise the money if they wanted, but he wasn’t going to buy the Star. I cannot remember who it was. Happy for Larry Elder. I believe it was Dennis Prager who heard him on Cleveland radio first and recommended him to KABC in LA.
The star or some organization like a fan club has to pay costs for the installation. It’s a weird process to get your star on the walk of fame. The most famous installation is the four lunar ones at the corner of Hollywood and Vine. Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins as the Apollo 11 astronauts.
That’s awesome. He deserves it.
Both of his parents have passed away.
I could understand Larry Elder who are other people I hear of Will Ferrell come on
