President Obama, in an address speech to UC Irvine graduates Saturday, took aim at congressional Republicans and others who dispute climate change, saying they posed a threat to the future.

Who exactly is denying that the climate changes? No one, naturally. It changes regularly. Why just yesterday, it was overcast and almost cool here in St. Louis, and today, it’s hot and steamy. Last winter, it was quite cold and very snowy. The spring was very rainy. Acknowledging that ‘change,’ however, does not mean I support the Kyoto Treaty or any other leftwing effort to deliberately cut our economy’s hamstrings for the sake of “our children’s future.” More empty prattle from Obammy: a catch phrase that means absolutely nothing except to his true believers. The jackass is arguing with empty air.
