And while we are at it, if redskins is out, so is the use of the term “Black Americans”. As an artist, I find it offensive to link the color black with the word American.

There must have been incredible pressure from the political class. Sad state of affairs. No one was offended; in fact it was a tribute to the Native Americans.
Glad I took home my 32oz plastic cup a few years ago from FedEx field in the game vs the Vikings. Wonder if that’ll eventually be worth some $$$? Or will it eventually get me behind bars?

180 years ago there was an attempt to destroy any proof of American Indians in the USA. Their earthworks were torn down, their pyramids demolished and the tribes banished to the back reaches of the US.
Today that work is still taking place by removing any reminder that there were any Indians here by removing all reminder of them to the backwaters of the sports industry.
The American Indian is becoming a non-person in the USA.
