Awesome! I don’t know about other cats, but our cat is very territorial. She loves people, but won’t let another animal to stick around long.

One of mine has no problem with letting any stray cat who comes across her path that they are in HER territory.

This particular cat was living in our yard when we moved into our house in 2009 and eventually moved into the house at the beginning of 2012. She’s a scrappy little thing, and has the scars to prove it, most notably a notch in the tip of her left ear.

Our cat once tried to save me when she thought I was sleeping through a fire alarm.

Dad was doing some remodeling in the basement and had warned us that the alarm might get tripped. I was laying on the sofa because my neck was hurting. When the alarm went off I just put a pillow over my head, but Kitty started racing around yowling her head off. Then she saw me laying there and screeched to a halt. She jumped up and started pawing at my face, still yowling, trying to wake me up!

I patted her on the head, and she shrugged, decided if I wasn't panicking then neither would she, and then plopped down beside me and took a nap. With the alarm still going off!
