Frankly,
I gave up watches decades ago. In between, if I wanted to know the time, I look at my phone. Have no need for body wear devices - I hate my glasses and if my eyes weren’t getting better each time as I age, I’d get that whatever laser stuff done.

The only add-on now I tolerate is a gun and holster. This smart watch? Not for me at all. Google glasses? Hell no.

I don’t see it either. Like you I quit wearing a watch years ago and have seen nothing compelling in these smart watches to make me go back. One of the complaints of the smart phone is small screen size, hard to see. I don’t see this improving with a watch with a smaller yet screen.

I wear a watch, and don’t carry a phone.

I'd rather wear a watch than be tethered to a phone.
It's just too easy to ignore people that are right in front of you when you have easy access to a "cool" phone.

(Plus there's the cool factor of pocket-watches; I lost mine in a move — maybe I should get a new one…)

I’ve gone back to wearing a watch as a way of freeing myself from my phone. No way I want my phone on my wrist!
