Why are people so fascinated by Hitler’s murderous behavior when in reality he is but a boy scout when compared to Stalin’s brutal 35-year rule in the Soviet Union and occupied parts of Europe?

That would be my assumption. How was it possible that the German people could surrender to that obscure little Austrian and is it possible to recognize the problem pattern in advance so it be dealt with before it becomes unmanageable.
