That would be my assumption. How was it possible that the German people could surrender to that obscure little Austrian and is it possible to recognize the problem pattern in advance so it be dealt with before it becomes unmanageable.

I was always interested in the question of how a Republic could all of a sudden become a dictatorship. I still don’t get what the Germans liked so much about Hitler.
Maybe it’s because I don’t speak German, but I just don’t understand how anyone could have voted to give him any sort of power whatsoever.
