I went to many of the Bruins Canadiens games.
I was a Boston fan but enjoyed watching Jaques Plante play goal for Montreal. He had way over 200 stitches in his face and started wearing a mask. This caught on, and now is the norm.

Iv'e seen games when Ken Dryden who wrote this article, was their goaltender. He was called the "octopus" as he could really cover the net with his gyrations.

Dryden later went into politics in Canada as a left winger. -Tom
