There’s something very Biblical about this situation, with a series of “kings of Babylon” then one final king who “was, is not, and is to come.”

This is very likely our warning that the final acts of deception are unfolding. And one of the lying signs and wonders appears to be the faux Christianity of the current king of Babylon.

Notice that the far left in western countries are saying nothing, studiously ignoring the whole question of Putin’s various pronouncements and deceptive moves. They probably assume it’s all for show, and that once re-established, the new Soviet Union will be much like the old Soviet Union. At that point, there will be no further need for the services of the Orthodox Church, in more ways than one.
