When Does Hillary Start Campaigning for Democrat Candidates this Year?
Self | April 14, 2014 | PJ-Comix

So when does Hillary Clinton start campaigning for Democrat candidates this year? Or perhaps the better question is WILL she campaign for Democrat candidates this year?

Get this. Hillary expects to be coronated as the Democrat presidential nominee in 2016 and thus far there is NO indication that she will lift a finger (or spend money) to help Democrat candidates in this year's elections. How can she ask for their support in 2016 when all indications are she will do NOTHING to help them in 2014.

Of course, Hillary is probably worried about putting her "reputation" on the line if many of the candidates she supports lose this year. So will she seek a risk-averse path and simply refrain from helping them this year?

If you see any indication that Hillary is going to campaign for Democrat candidates this year, please post here.

Her primary opponents, whoever they may be, could use her non-participation in this year's elections against her.

I did see Bill campaign for the Democrat Senatorial candidate in Kentucky but that might be because she is kind of cute.

Gosh I sure hope she doesn’t campaign for other candidates! They would sure win if she did! You can do ANYTHING to us, just don’t campaign for other candidates.

Hillary was campaigning before Bill left office.

I guess the real question becomes who has asked her to campaign for them?
I suspect most campaigns would be closed mouth about asking.

She can best help them by staying away from them, and I think that’s why we won’t see her lifting any fingers.

They won’t. They are going to be second string candidates just to look like it is serious. She will be the nominee I am convinced of it. I hope we get a good nominee because it is going to be a full out war to beat her. Plus although we may have the Senate, we have a ton of seats to defend in 2016. Some have said that the Senate may go Republican in 2014, Democrat in 2016 and back to Republican in 2018....hopefully we can really win in 2016 with a good candidate. Of course that is totally up to the voters.

Ms. Rodham eventually will have to appear in public, not just the carefully screened meetings. She's get more than a thrown shoe...

Evita is STILL too toxic...Besides, maybe she is as anxious about how the Benghazi failure will be exposed as everyone else is!

Hillary is to the democrats what Sarah is to the republicans. Or, to put it in a way that is more germane, Hillary is to the center and right what Sarah is to the center and left.

Except the center likes Sarah more.

2016 primary opponents could well use non-participation against her.

However, if she backs someone and they lose that hurts her as well.

Rock and a hard place.

If she does actively campaign for someone, it’ll be someone from CA, MD, MA, etc. She loses too much political capital if she backs a lower.

I really don’t think she will. Bill will. Hildabeast will stay out of pretty much everything until/if she announces she is going to run. There may be an isolated case here and there, but from a purely strategic point of view, there is no real upside to her doing so. She’s going to be running in 2016 when the Dims are guaranteed a 7-10 seat Senate pick-up. She’ll wait til that perfect storm.

It doesn’t matter what she does. She could actively and publicly sabotage every one of their races, and they will still annoint her. There is not someone newer and shinier with a trumping minority status this time, this year chick is the brass ring.
