Seems like a good Palin post.

Just to keep up on things.

I found it to be a typical condescending smug put-down of Mrs Palin and us yokels out here in flyover country. But I guess that is all we can really expect from the MSM or the permanent political class.

I’m not sure I agree.

It seemed to me pretty balanced. Maybe I’m not seeing something though.

Anything in particular you found to be a put-down?

What if Sarah had been a democrat gov instead.....and no change in her policies or beliefs....she cleaned out a corrupt republican governor....how would the press have treated her????

I believe Palin has a huge wellspring of goodwill in America.

Huge.

She is partisan to a point, but she can reach across the aisle and reach new Republicans.

I think she is our best prospect going forward. #1.

It looked to me on the Tonight Show that she has done something about her shrill-souding voice or maybe it’s just me.

Surprised at the fairness of the article - coming from the Washington Compost. Some snark, but overall, an objective take on Palin, the brand.

I heard a lot of criticisms of her voice last time around, but not so much now.

However I never hear criticisms of guys voices.

Never. Not one word. Ever. Just saying.

Just curious; does anyone recall Sarah stating which federal departments or agencies she would do away with first if she were president?

That question should be asked of ALL candidates of ALL parties.

Thats what I felt also. “Palin has shown a remarkable ability to stay top of mind” (Yeah, she sure does live rent-free in liberal’s heads! )

She was pretty good but with one distraction — she smirked at the wrong times, or maybe it was nervousness.

My favorite Palin story: Several years ago, Palin agreed to speak to the Salina (KS) Chamber of Commerce. The Salina paper headline: Palin to Speak at Chamber, Not Everyone is a Fan. Story included the obligatory sad-sack Democrat whiner. Next day, same paper had to print following: Palin Visit Overwhelms Chamber, Already Oversold, Searching for Bigger Venue, Email and Voice Mail Volumes Crash Systems.
Anyway, it was the biggest Salina Chamber event in history. People from all over Kansas came. And it was a great time!

That question should be asked of ALL candidates of ALL parties.

Eliminate the office, staff and perks to the spouse. That expense is plain bullcrap!!!

Also, put a cap on gov.funding of vacations equal to one year salary.

The Washington Post will be dead in ten years, Palin will still be around. I think the WP needs to think about its own survival.

I’m happy to oblige you. Ross Perot’s voice makes me want to tear my hair out. Robert Kennedy Junior’s voice makes me want to give him a warm bottle and put him down for a nap. Joe Lieberman, like Kennedy, sounds like he is just on the tail end of a good cry.

Dick Cheney and John Kerry have beautiful, testosterone infused voices. Cheney, in particular, sometimes sends a shiver down my spine.
