Amazing. Hundreds of actual L.A. murders every year in which there is little or no reward offered, but some guy named Pregerson gets killed in a traffic collision -- and there's a $100,000 bounty for information.
It appears like some people are more equal than others.

Anybody ought to be free to offer whatever private reward he wishes in the furtherance of whatever good he wants, but this one got put up partly by the council. Unless the council has a standing policy to match all such rewards, it does seem a little odd. C’est la vie injuste....

This is just around the corner from Jan and Dean's "Dead Man's Curve." One of the most beautiful places in all of the LA area, where Sunset Boulevard finally hits the beach.
Too damn bad about the kid. Hope they catch the SOB.
