My Rep. -—one of the few conservatives in California!
Lord help us. The CA GOPe wants to get rid of one of the few well spoken conservatives from CA. This is about as safe a seat as there is in CA. McClintock should be given a medal for warning he gave as a state legislative member the state was setting itself up for massive trouble when it jacked up the public pensions during the height of the previous stock/real estate bubble.
Thanks for posting this.
McClintock does not deserve this.
This is different than a primary battle. No one can claim this is equivalent to Tea Party trying to defeat incumbents in the primary.
This Is a strategy to make the general election between two Republican candidates.
The idea is to split the vote among Republicans with the liberal Republican then garnering most of the Democrat vote, without a Democrat in the race.
Prince Rebus, hipster king, needs to address this to correct it or to make clear he and California GOP and RNC support this.
I expect the dems to help GOP whenever the R is “threatened” by a TEA Party candidate.
