The man behind the footage of calling a fraud soldier out for wearing Ranger, E.O.D., and 101st Airborne Tab was arrested immediately after the video by the campus authorities.
The reason? He was charged with disturbing the peace and making threats against a phony soldier who was pretending to serve and die for our country.
The police reported that Vieira, the man confronting the fake soldier, approached him on several occasions and verbally assaulted the fraud! Well theres a pretty valid reason behind the so-called unnecessary assault.
Vieira, who uploaded video of the confrontation to YouTube, was later arrested by campus authorities for confronting the man in military clothing.
(Vieira) approached him on several occasions and verbally went after him, Delta police officer Jim Bock told KXTV. Hes been counseled on each occasion to stop. There are proper ways to handle these issues.
The man who was wearing fake tabs told the authorities that he did indeed serve as a Ranger. What a fraud! The police also told KXTV that it is not illegal to wear a uniform as long as the person wearing it is not trying to reap any benefits.
Vieira thinks otherwise, and Im sure the rest of you reading this do as well.
It strikes a nerve when someone goes around faking that uniform. Its very disrespectful, Vieira said.
Were the authorities justified for arresting a man who got emotional and upset over a liar because his 4 Ranger brothers died serving for our country? He is a proud Ranger, and we believe he is as innocent as you can be.
Oh my god who is that disgusting POS?
Anyone can pick up a set of ACUs at a MilSurp store/yard sale/flea market and put patches on them.
Shane McGowan, lead singer of The Pogues...although I think he’s cleaned up his act in the last few years.
That's why I advocate making fun of him instead of having an angry confrontation. Let everyone around him know what a contemptible, pathetic little worm he is. If you shout and scream, you get arrested yourself, but if you are choking with laughter and trying to drag other people into the contemptuous, derisive laughter, there are no grounds for arrest. Being laughed at is far harder on someone's ego and far more likely to make them go hide.
You can be arrested for verbal assault?
Well girls. Something to think about, huh?
Doesn’t look like it would apply in this case but a good test of whether a person is EOD or not is to start a snowball fight with them. If they don’t put rocks in the snowballs, then they’re not EOD.
Both anger or laughter are reactions. It is the one who is knowingly pretending to be something he is not who is the provocateur.
What a puke.
Hah! Sounds like something a friend from 2d EOD Company would do. His seventh and last overseas deployment was in 2011.
I sort of feel sorry for the guy. He looks like he might be a bit off mentally.
I remember a guy many years ago who claimed he had many pro offers as a pitcher. The first day our camp team practiced I noticed he did indeed look like he knew what he was doing at 3rd base. It only took a few minutes to realize he was no good at all. He had all the right moves except he couldn’t field or throw.
He had a letter jacket and I noticed it had MGR on the letter. Everyone knew that meant “manager” but he claimed it stood for “most games recorded”.
If someone finds out his name, send the info to: http://thisainthell.us/blog/?page_id=1206
Yes but they are not trying to give the impression of being active duty...and they have the right to wear whatever uniform articles they have left.
This ass was trying to pick up chicks, or cruise for guys on campus or whatever. He is trying to portray himself as active duty military.
That should be illegal.
I wonder how the cops would feel if all the kids hung around in cop uniforms getting drunk and sticking their hands in their pockets pretending to be cops.
Free food. That’s what he’s doing. Probably taking houndouts everywhere.
Life in the People’s Republic of Obamastan.
For what its worth, didnt see anything in the video that should have led to an arrest. And after being arrested, the two cops both looked scared. That being said, I’d have given the poser 2 choices...take it off, or I’ll remove it for you.
“The police also told KXTV that it is not illegal to wear a uniform as long as the person wearing it is not trying to reap any benefits.”
Right. But let some fraud wear their police officer’s uniform! That would be quite a different story altogether.
Who is that??
Try laughing & pointing publically at a prancing Gay Pride faggie and see what happens. HATE CRIME!!!!
As for post Vietnam discharge, I was told you could wear your uniform until you arrived at your home of record. BTW we didn’t have the `Ruptured Duck’ emblem of the returning WWII vets.
"Okey Dokie, we are being drowned in requests on this goober smooch, we, as well as several others have jumped onboard in support of the Vet who got arrested during this call-out. All we can ask is please be patient, the wheels are in motion, have to wait on paperwork to come back, we haven't, nor will we forget about him."
