Interesting - I wonder if it will be produced in FL as well as PA.
BTW, I commented on another thread earlier that NE didn't deserve Yuengling. They got it anyway, as they started distributing again in MASS (the 15th state to be so blessed).
I think if one has ever tried Bud’s American Ale, it’s a bit like Yuengling’s flagship brew for those who can’t obtain Yuengling.
Yuengling is going the way of Leinenkugel - and that’s not a bad thing.
Yuengling - the new RollingRock or Leine....
Scratched s Adams and Heine off my ‘to buy’ list
and no Yuengling isn’t a Chinese brew.
(comes from the RED part of Pennsylvania)
Sounds like a fine alternative to Sam Adams Queer Beer
“Scratched s Adams and Heine off my to buy list”
Me too - as of yesterday when I read about what they did with the St. Pat’s Day Parade
“and no Yuengling isnt a Chinese brew.”
Oh, I know. I’ve had more than a few of them myself.
I’m just wondering when it will be sold in Texas.
Meaning?
Offering a variety of beers - especially seasonal ones. Leinenkugel has been doing it for years. It might be good to compare this new Yuengling with Leinie’s Sunset Wheat: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/710/29015/
Good. No more Sam Adams in my house.
Real Beer, if they had it up here I would be in DETOX.
I once brought Yuengling to a party only to have one inebriated friend opine “I ain’t drinking no GD Chinaman beer”.

I’ve met Dick twice - both times he was chain smoking and talking a mile a minute. Very intense, steely guy. He won’t “give” the brewery to his daughters, they will have to “buy” it, like he did from his Father.
They are a great family - well grounded - yet enjoying their wealth. All of Freeperland should support them and their non-union produced products.
As for Texas, I asked him about that last year and he said “we’re looking into it.” They almost had a deal w/ a brewery in TN that would have given them access to TX, but it fell through. He doesn’t just jump into things. It has to be the right deal at the right time.
I think they’ll buy another brewery this year (just my opinion), and sales will skyrocket yet again.
The owner sounds like an interesting man. I like their beer. I also like two other beers; “Dogfish Head” and “ Spencer Trappist Ale”.
This should be in breaking news... I am series because this is HUGH.
Back home, near the Lehigh Valley, we all drank Yeungling... and it seems that everywhere in the country I go, I hear people saying how they wish the could get Yeungling where they live.
I saw a news story lately on our local station about the old Richmond VA Yuengling brewery. Here is a link http://wtvr.com/2014/01/11/holmberg-deep-down-rva-a-new-life-for-145-year-old-underground-beer-vaults/
Very cool. I think I’d lick the walls. Well maybe.
