One interesting tidbit about “I Love Lucy” was that Ethel was actually younger than Lucy.
Several years ago, I saw Lucille Ball in an old B&W movie and was surprised just how pretty she was.

I actually always found Frawley to be more funny in the 1930s, when he was doing comedic character roles, especially at Paramount. Often played cynical, street-smart con-men, and usually wore a bowler.
