My opinion of Frawley was lowered when I learned he treated Vivian Vance like crap.
IRC I've read that he wasn't particularly well liked by anyone associated with the show.He apparently had a liking for the bottle which,if true,would lend credence to stories of unpopularity.
He was very difficult to work with according to many affiliated with the show. Just an SOB on and off the set.
