When I was a kid, my mom got a pair of Bedlington Terriers, they were sisters and there were serious discussions about naming them. In the summer, Sunday family dinner was at our house because of our backyard. So here it is Sunday afternoon and mom and dad and the grandparents are sitting in the yard sipping their gin and tonics. The puppies knocked over mom’s glass which was on the ground and proceeded to lap it all up - thus we had Gin and Tonic!

I wonder where my kitty is keeping her stash. That is her normal m.o.

Gin and Tonic is perfect.

Looking back at my earlier post, I didn’t name any of those. The only dog I was allowed to choose a name for in the last twenty years was a short haired pointer that was a Christmas present from my wife. He had a red ribbon with a bow around his neck. Imagination got the better of me and voila ... he became: Bo.

That’s short for Bo Dog. He responded to either. Mostly.
