An anti-gun committee in the NH House stripped a Constitutional Carry bill of it's language and instead inserted language for a so-called study group. The majority of it's members would be anti-gun. Basically a trojan horse for more gun grabbing measures.

The HB 1264 study commission would consist of one senator appointed by the Senate President (? how pro or anti are the Senate president and house speakers>), three House members appointed by the House Speaker, one member of an organization promoting gun violence prevention (anti-2A) appointed by the Governor, one retail firearms business owner (stands to make money off every transaction) appointed by the Governor, and one member each from the National Alliance for Mental Illness (anti-gun), New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police (anti-gun), Gun Owners of New Hampshire and the Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (anti-gun), appointed by those organizations.

If I’m not mistaken their state motto is: “Live Free Or Die”. So much for the people standing up against the authoritarian regime to live by their motto I guess. Maybe some willing to die for their cause.

Adopt Vermont's Laws.
If VT's laws are good enough for socialists, they should be good enough for former MassHoles.

To the extent that we have background checks at all, they should not include any identification of the firearm unless the buyer is between the legal age to buy a long gun and the legal age to buy a handgun. Why should a background check include the make and model of the firearm, let alone the serial number? “Background check” as implemented in the United States today is a euphemism for “back door registration”.

NH had 15 murders in 2012 in a population of 1.32M, or 1.1 per 100K population. That's about as safe as it gets anywhere in the world.

I had a CCW from NH and it was 20.00 for out of state. They sent me renewal and it was 100.00. I never sent it back.

More and more Bostonians are retiring to southern NH, or simply going to live there to avoid taxes and other expense.
Then these idiots reconstruct everything they’ve left behind.
Hopefully, this benighted offense against the constitution will go nowhere.
