I watched it and I see more snow (visibly more) at the end than the beginning. Had this snow been wetter and less powdery, the cart would hold the snow.

I’m not saying that’s what he was depending on, but you can look at a plain kitchen sifter as a loose parallel. It will hold flour until the scraper sweeps by.

When I worked for Dawn Foods I used to spread flour on the floor to sweep up salt and sugar.

Grains don’t sweep well and the powder helped a lot.

Haha! um, no. Though that is sweet of you to graciously attempt to defend the indefensible. But sometimes you just have to step back, not interfere and let nature take it's course. ;-)
