Pepsi (NOT Coke) makes a great marinade too (it gets sweet & syrupy) then sprinkle w/Tony Scherra (I don’t remember the last name, but it’s RED handwriting on a GREEN canister—that looks almost like a parm cheese container same type of rotating top too). The Iggle sells it.
Two of my neighboring twps are under a state if emergency—NO salt. Their schools are closed. Our roads (Twp & PennDOT) are covered (residential sts really bad). Our sd open (but we only have a half day). If we get more snow today/tonight it should be interesting. Found out that the usual VFD response to accidents has been delayed (a chief or asst assesses damage and calls out crew as needed). Those guys using 4wds, roads too bad yesterday for fire trucks to be out unnecessarily.
Spring thaw can’t come fast enough.

Roads here are fine but salt is low. The quake near Cleveland affected that mine and the lakes frozen over is keeping supplies from the upper midwest from reaching us.
