Anyway, prepare to barf today if you happen to see Faux News Sunday with Chris Wallace RINO, child of Mike Wallechinsky. The only one on the panel today that stood up for Conservatives was Laura Ingraham.
Doesn’t a Saudi royal have a huge stake in Fox?
News Corp execs endorsed John Kerry in 2004.
I have been watching FOX since their existence. I don't notice any movement to the left. They may have a few more libs around, but they are idiots that get walked over by their counterparts.
1. Fox News was very tough on the last Democratic candidate for president. (But MSNBC was even tougher on the Republican).
Yes Fox is biased toward the right. And MSNBC is biased to the left. Hardly startling.
2.The Fox News audience skews more ideological than that of its two main competitors. The analysis says more about Pew than the fact does about Fox. There are other possible deductions - perhaps more Liberals misidentify their positions as mainstream rather than Liberal.
3.Fox News is expensive. The cable and satellite companies are not charities nor are they altruistic. They are paying for what they see as the value of the audience that Fox brings. If MSNBC could demand more fees, why would it not do so?
4. Fox still leads in audience, but that audience is smaller than it used to be. This fact is true for all three channels in the graph and more so for MSNBC. A neutral person might draw the conclusion that television viewership is moving to other technologies.
5. Fox outspends its rivals. If Fox outspends its rivals and it is receiving more licensing fees, one can conclude that its business plan is superior or “it takes money to make money.”
I was very pleased to see Laura there today. I think she wiped the floor with all of them with the truth & facts. The capping came when Juan’s statement that he would rather Will Smith debate Laura:)
too many commercials and, worse lately, token idiot libs.
Fox News was the work of Ailes, who worked for RIchard NixOn.
Nixon and his folks fought the liberal media which hated him for not being far enough to the left for them.
Nixon’s supporters wanted “fair and balanced” news coverage and advocated the Fairness Doctrine. The Nixon FCC used it in one case against NBC News and others against conservative religious broadcasters who wanted a military victory in Vietnam.
Fox News uses real conservatives and real conservative grievances as bait to lure conservatives in so they can be sold RINO ideas and RINO politicians as the solution.
Don’t watch Fox “were are left of left” News any more. Sick of the commies they are hiring. Tired of the homo lovers they have on the programs every stinking day. Tired of their butt kissing of the Obama Regime. So, I don’t watch Fox “We love Commies” News any more.
As long as the media’s bleeding-hearts are still criticizing Fox, you’ll know that they haven’t moved left.
When you start hearing Obama or Jay Carney praising Fox for their “bipartisan spirit”, then you can begin worrying.
You’re entitled to your opinion about “Faux”. The rest of us are, too.
And in the end, the market will decide. But that verdict seems to be pretty clear at this point.
The main thing that is disgusting lately about Faux News is their caving in to the homosexuals. This has got to be on orders from Roger Ailes. He sees the polls that suppossedly approve of homosexual “marriage”, and follows the polls. None of the full-time regulars on Faux News will say that they believe marriage is a man and woman. Not the first one of them. When the Boy Scouts caved to the homosexuals Faux News supported the Scouts and said it was a great idea. When the Kenyan allowed women in direct combat roles Faux News said it was good idea. The Five crew said “bless their hearts” if they want to serve their country exactly the way men have for 200 years. So with Faux News joining the other liberal media, what is their to watch? Nothing I guess. I’ll listen to more talk radio I guess. Mark Levin is my favorite.
I stopped watching FOX News about 4yrs ago, I no longer watch TV at all, I would drop cable but my wife must have her cooking, real estate, home rehab and shopping channels.
I get my news on the net, my entertainment on netflix and hulu, just watched Fist Full of Dollars last night on netflix, they also have Good the Bad and the Ugly, I never get tired of seeing Clint’s westerns.
Fox News is on many cable providers because customer demand made them. Never heard the same for any of their competitors.
By Pew's own study, 43% of cable news viewers define themselves as conservative, 37% as moderate, 14% as liberal, so arguably Fox News just reflects the audience for cable news and does it rather well.
Also, if Fox News does spend more money than MSNBC, it's because FNC doesn't have a massive broadcast news network it can piggyback on (by the same token, though, Fox News's large share of the news audience may be explained in part by the fact that there isn't a broadcast or cable competitor for the conservative audience).
...yeah Laura, I was one of those screaming at the TV, especially at the establishment turd and the chickie who said "the illegals won't necessarily be voting demorat..."...guess she never heard of a place called California..
BTW, it was actually 4-1 with Wallace the Weasel...
...didn't matter, Laura kicked the hell out'of'em.
Maybe those “conservative” MSNBC viewers just watch “Lockup” and “Caught on Camera.”
