I havent seen the new documentary MITT and Im not sure I can bring myself to do so.
Living in the real-life aftermath of Romneys failed presidential campaign is depressing enough without sitting through a cinematic autopsy, too.
Some say that if this documentary or something like it had been screened before election day, Romneys chances wouldve improved.
Obviously we cant know that for certain.
I feel more confident declaring that had an infamous but little seen Barry Goldwater campaign film called Choice aired in 1964, he still wouldnt have won.
Thats because Goldwater had no chance of winning anyhow.
Americans werent going to dishonor their recently assassinated Democratic president by failing to vote for his successor. Period.
It didnt help that the elites had successfully painted Goldwater as a racist, warmongering loony.

Sounds like some of the “community organizers” in chi-town ain’t too happy with their boy anymore based on their response to his mistake of the union address Tuesday night. Geez, it only took them 5 years to figure out they are being lied to. DOH! And now the “lyin’ king” is on the verge of losing the envirowackos too. At least he still has the is-lamish vote.

Other than watching the conventions and being fascinated, going door-to-door for Goldwater as part of YAF in my teens was my first political action.
