The Mexican Congress Requests

The Mexican Congress has just passed a resolution calling upon the United States to facilitate the granting of asylum to Mexican citizens who claim they are escaping from violence. Due to widespread killings and attacks in the country, primarily due to drug trafficking, the Mexican Congress is admitting officially that they cannot protect their own citizens from other Mexicans. It figures, therefore, that the responsibility must now fall to the United States.

DOH! Simple solution. The US adopts the same stance/rules/regulations/laws as Mexico has when it comes to immigrants/trespassers both legal/illegal. You DON'T(and why would you)ever want to be an illegal alien caught in meh-hee-co. If their laws are good enough(with nobody raising a stink), what's the big deal if we treat these folks the same way?

J.J. Pershing had the right idea on how to deal with Mexican invaders and lawlessness which spilled over from south of the border back in 1916.

If Woodrow Wilson had given him the logistical support he needed back then, it is entirely likely that we would have a functioning American friendly state in Northern Mexico now.

A somewhat different version of “Fast & Furious” could speed things up, but only if the arms were distributed in the southern part of the country - you know, the area that has been having food riots because the price of tortillas has skyrocketed. Can we say “ethanol”, boys and girls?

I think we should tell the mexicans that we will gladly fix their drug problem, BUT we keep all the land that we take. Forever!

How about instead passing a law that states that Mexican citizens will have to leave via the southern border instead of the northern one? Then ask the lower americas to grant them asylum, and pass a resolution calling for the USA to ship illegal aliens to the southern part of Mexico to help them escape the other way?
