The Food and Drug Administration on Friday cleared a first-of-a-kind blood test that can help diagnose mental disabilities in babies by analyzing their genetic code.
The laboratory test from Affymetrix detects variations in patients chromosomes that are linked to Down syndrome, DiGeorge syndrome and other developmental disorders. About 2 to 3 percent of U.S. children have some sort of intellectual disability, according to the National Institutes of Health.

Heard about this on NPR. This is the first step in genetic testing for disabilities, to be expanded to test for genetic abilities.
This is Designer Babies to screen for the bad things and choose what you want your child to grow up to be.
Those embryos that do not test at the proper specifications will be disposed of until one is found that has desirable characteristics.
The Parents were notified by a call telling them to select a choice of getting the body back or letting the state dispose of it.
Next step, denial of medical care to said children beyond palliative.
Does this mean that babies that will turn out liberal or homosexual can be DNA tested and aborted?
This is for babies already born. But since they’re talking acceptance of “post-birth abortion” these days, who knows what will be accepted.
