Oh noooooo! No Packers on TV?
7500 tickets remain for a PLAYOFF game?? For The Packers???
Now you know the economy is in the dumper...
How is this possible? I’d check the news source.
/no offense
Obviously, like anything else that doesn’t sell, the price is too high. Just like Obamacare.
Yep the economy is in the tank , I always told my dad when we watched Football on the tube to look in the stands ,most of the seats was empty. I saw many college bowl games this year where the stands reminded me of when I was in high school , pathetic.
Just put the tickets on the Federal Affordable Entertainment Exchange website (www.entertainmentcare.gov).
Costs too much, right after Christmas and the weather. Yes, we are talking Packers fans, but maybe it is finally too much. Not a fan, but know folks who are. I imagine all the bars will have it on satellite.
Demands for money for playoff tix went out back when it appeared the Packers would not make the playoffs - so much of their fanbase simply didn’t pay. That explains their biggest fans not showing up.
Beyond that though, add on the high cost of tix, parking, concessions, the over-the-top security, the constant, nanny-state harping at stadiums on not-smoking, not drinking, supporting this or that cause, PLUS 0 Deg. Weather, and I say the NFL can stuff it.
I hope there is no blackout. I was looking forward to sitting by the pool, watching the game and drinking a Margarita. We get thirsty down here in Florida, don’t ‘ya know.
Rush was just talking about this on his show. He wants algore, barry and other leftists to sit in the front row for the entire game and then give a talk about gore bull warming.
Gee, do you think the price might be too high. Several hundred dollars to watch a football game is ridiculous. It is amazing that they sold as many tickets as they did.
Perhaps if the NFL lowered the ticket prices? They’re pretty outrageous from what I have seen. What blue collar middleclass family can afford it?
Hmmmmm....70 degrees, 50” flat screen with surround sound, bathroom 20 feet away, endless beer and snacks and ability to turn off the show if your team is being killed
versus
7 degrees, bad view, traffic, $200 per ticket, $6 for a beer, filthy restrooms a 5 minute walk away and an annoying loudmouth next to you.
It’s going to be violently cold and the Niners have totally crushed them 2 in the last 12 months and all signs point to 3 for 3. It’s hard to get people to pay money to watch the home team lose.
blackout a playoff game?
How often does that happen?
5 minutes past the end game! How did they do?
Extra-cold weather could now be the tipping point against sell-outs, as most people have big screen TVs or friends with big TVs, or a neighborhood bar or restaurant where they can gather and watch games in climate-comfort surroundings.
HD TV and bitter cold temperatures make a January playoff ticket in Green Bay a tough sell.
