When will the New Year's first FReepathon get underway? Although the all-important purpose is to raise funds to support Conservative activism for this great pro-God, pro-life, pro-gun and pro-liberty site, it's also great fun to exchange comments with FReepers and to see enjoy cat pictures! :)
As Jim says, let's get 'er done.
TOPICS: Chit/Chat

Some Victorian tea sets are lovely and some are overdone. lol
Hubby switched hard drives on my computer. Everything is in the wrong place and I am missing some programs. Gonna be a "fun" FReepathon! Not.

Well, Bryan is a former Subject of the Queen. His parents came to America when he was 3 years old.
He was naturalized about 9 years ago after we moved here.
His green card picture was getting really difficult, a pic of a 3-year-old boy being used by a 54-year-old man?
I kid him mercilessly that he only married me so that he could become an American citizen.
Took him long enough. We’ve been married for 34 years! [giggles]
To: TheOldLady
Wow, three years old! Did he manage to retain an accent?

We're having chicken tamales this afternoon...that's as close as I'll get to enchiladas ;-) I also found cheese and jalapeño tamales...some spice to kick off the new year.
(What type sauce do you use on your chicken enchiladas? I'd love your recipe, if you happen to have it handy, now that I'm craving them ;-)

No, he’s 100% Conservative American who has voted ever since he became naturalized.
But his Dad had a very thick accent, and we can both put one on at will.
His Dad was a great guy, and he taught me a lot of Cockney slang.
Bryan’s parents were a little leery of me at first, my being “the older woman” and “a
divorcee” and all. But once they saw the positive effects of my influence on Bryan,
they started treating me like their own daughter.
I can honestly say that my own parents did not treat me nearly as well as my dearest
in-laws. I miss them at every holiday meal and birthday celebration.

I miss my in-laws, too. It’s not the same without them.
