There was a time when skepticism of theories was valued. As a believer in the very bare-bones concepts of evolution (not so convinced on a lot of the inferences), I’m not sure why this matters.
Surely we should be more concerned about the lack of basic modern historical knowledge among all Americans. I want a poll done on basic American history questions and see how people fare.

It's the very first tenet of science. At least, that's what we were taught years ago.

American History means nothing without a philosophical basis for Natural Law.

Without it, our history is nothing but a string of events.
