well put, and I agree.
Oh I am sorry you have to live next door to something like this
and am sorry for the grandmother too
The only pit bulls I have known were raised from puppies in families who treated them like pets and not as fighters
I have a rescued german shepherd/ golden mix I got as a 9 mon old puppy.
She is so loyal and protective of me she will get in front of my and growl at anyone running toward me. I have her well leash trained and she is very obedient but I will not completely stifle her protective instincts
I can see those instincts really coming out in dogs trained to fight.
Those pitbulls next door to you are a disaster waiting to happen.
Please be careful and I know you are
That's a pretty warped view!!
Well let's see. The dog killed someone. So would you say the dog was dangerous and a killer?
If you really want to save a lot of lives, change it to:
Never have a *girlfriend or wife* that can kill you. LOL
Ping...
Another WOW!
And smoked. Poor people who own dogs always smoke.
Had a renter on our street years ago. Kids slept on cots because they couldn't afford beds, but they bought a $200 dog and had cable TV. This $200 was over 20 years ago.
I give up. arguing with drunks, morons, and pit bull lovers is a waste of my time. They’re all incapable of logical thought as you have so amply demonstrated.
I guess I’d like a few more facts (was she a rescuer? a dogfight trainer?) before I pass judgement on how well the interests of justice were served in this case.
Wouldnt own a pit bull myself, I’m more of a retriever guy personally.
I love it when people spend thousands of dollars on tires and wheels to install on a 500 dollar car.
What difference would it make. The dog was a killer, by definition, and it killed the owner instead of some random bystander. bad that she was killed, but far better the owner than some innocent kid.
Quite some years ago one of my wife's coworkers was walking from her car to her apartment, and two pit bulls (left by some moron unsecured in the back of his pickup while he was screwing some little honey in the apt complex) attacked her and cause permanent disfiguration. Best part was they never caught him. The woman he was "visiting" didn't really know him, but had just picked him up for the night. The co-worker had tens of thousand in medical bills and was permanently scarred, and the pit bull lover didn't have any negative consequences. SO yes I'd far rather a killer dog go off on the owner than someone else.
Did you know that there is a thriving business *renting* wheels to those possessing tiny penises?
Keep your f'ing name-calling to yourself!!
“We’ll need two dorms of ID and an affidavit from your wife.”
dorms = forms
No person deserves to be killed by a pit bull. This is a tragedy but the comments in here are really turning ugly.
I'm very sure this elderly lady thought that the pit bulls on her property were totally harmless at least to her. She trusted them and died because of that trust.
There is no indication that these dogs were abused, starved or anything bad was happening to them. One of them just snapped and killed her is all we know for sure.
This situation clearly demonstrates my position on this issue. I blame the owners who know the nature and instincts of pit bulls and don't care or believe that they are dog whisperers and can alter what has been bred into them for hundreds of years. I blame owners who are so tied into the "my dogie would not hurt a flee" belief that they totally deny the reality of the data that clearly shows exactly the opposite.
Very few pit owners beat and abuse their dogs. Many pit owners are ego driven but treat their dogs well. Most pit bull owners do not have a good "handle" on their dogs. Watch what is going on the next time you see a person with a pit bull on the end of a leash. A well trained dog does not pull on the leash at all. The handler is in control by using voice commands not by physically restraining them with the leash. The pits you see on the street will be pulling on the leash with all their weight. They are pulling/leading the idiots on the other end of the leash down the road and it is the dogs that are in control. The pit is taking their human for a walk and their whole attitude says "I'm boss."
What I’d expect from a moron
