A lot can change in a year. I’m not an SEC fan. I follow the Big 12 and the PAC. But the fact that the SEC has won the past 7 BCS Championship games is a clear indication about the quality of football being played in that conference. They dominate college football and I really hope OSU gets by MSU Saturday, because I would enjoy seeing FSU crush them.
How does it feel that a team from the Big 12 is playing for the SEC championship?
Im surprised Saban had such a slow defense on the field. That was his mistake, not kicking the field goal.
With such a distance they needed the big hogs up front to prevent a blocked field goal around the line of scrimmage. They probably were unprepared to have to go and track down a guy in a full sprint!
Wow, you’re on a roll .4 absurd posts in a row .
Every team has their money games. The games within the conference are what count, especially in the SEC. Seven BCS championships in a row (with one being an all SEC event) will tell you everything you need to know about the superiority of that conference.
Tickets for the BCS title game are parceled out each team gets the same .and FSU people will travel too.
A fluke play resulted in a loss. Had it gone into overtime the outcome might have been different.
OSU also made a play at the end of the game to preserve the win. On the road. In front of 110,000 rabid fans. Playing against their bitter rival for the 109th time.
and on the road in a hostile rivalry environment too not a bad loss at all as far as reflecting poorly on the team - except for the timing and the way it ended being such a thud .
Your reply is what is absurd.
You comparing Michigan to Auburn?????
Really?????
Seminole fans will sell them on Stub Hub, there will be more OSU fans at the game in Pasadena.
A fluke play, one in a million?
No, your Rose bowl ticket idea is absurd. Comparing Auburn to Michigan is absurd. You live in Atlanta, and dislike the SEC, so I get that you’re tired of hearing about the SEC - I prolly feel the same way if I lived in Atlanta
.
but that doesn’t mean you can come on here and make a fool of yourself and get away with it
...
There would be more OSU fans, but not enough to make it a homefield advantage, and not enough to double OSU’s team speed, which is what would be needed.
Not sure we have any disagreement in the one in a million play, but not sure that’s pertinent to any point I was making .but your cold weather analogy is really off the hook ridiculous.
A rival is a rival. For Michigan beating OSU would have been their whole season that’s why they were so crushed after the game.
Ask Oregon about playing their rival. Ask Georgia about playing GA Tech.
You are fooling yourself...
What are you babbling about now? I said nothing about rivalry ..but in addition to rivalry, there is also quality. Michigan is simply not a good comparison this year to Auburn. Rivals? yes, but not up to the skill and speed and success level of Auburn.
And here is more proof that God is an Auburn fan.... The sun is orange and the sky is blue and "BAMA" is a part of the dreaded OBAMA name. :-)
So ... who are you picking to win the BCS title game? Seminoles or Buckeyes?
I wish they could both lose.
