The uniparty is who specializes in the politics of Fear, Division, and Hatred. Whether the blue or red flag is being flown is irrelevant when the policies of both are essentially the same.

Y’know having folks who are taking our side eat crow may be satisfying, but it’s self defeating in the long run. It takes some courage and integrity to stand up publicly say “I was wrong.” We should be thankful and welcoming, not petty and vindictive.

I’ve long thought that one of the reasons for the venom from the Democrats is that all else being equal if she were a Dem, she’d be like gold to them.

Now as far as why some folks on our side are so worried about her, I’m stumped. She’s less trouble than a lot of others.

She was one of the few in the whole GOP who routinely sounded warning bells about corporatism and the whole incestuous big-government/big-business system run by the professional political class, and how it innately works together to GROW government and government spending as a whole. There are a number of seemingly decent conservatives around, but far too few that seem to really recognize or verbalize this particular slant/danger.

It took me many years to see it. But with our country going downhill so rapidly under all the Ivy League presidents, I think more and more see it, too.
