I wouldn’t honor them with military service but I think a good job opportunity for 4 or 5 five retired Marine DI’s would be to put these asshats through 3 or 4 years of constant Marne basic training.
I think an 18 hour day on half rations ought to work.

I recall basic at Ft Leonard Wood where a whole bunch of young Chicago thugs were drafted. When the DI’s weren’t looking their theft and bullying went unchecked. The “blanket party” was introduced to them one at a time. Soon they fell in line and I believe all of them passed basic.
But I must say that bunch had natural fighting and survival skills and must have made good 11B’s. Fast forward to today and I’d take a Chicago thug as a fellow soldier any day compared to a fag.
But do not misunderstand me, any murderous slime that preys on defenseless old men do not deserve the honor of wearing the Army uniform.

As a white woman, I can’t agree with that sentiment, but I must admit that I do like the idea that these 2 perps are shaking in their boots at this point,.

A blanket is thrown over the guest of honor and the party guests beat hell out of him through it. He can’t identify who was involved. Cake is served later.

The suggestion of putting criminals into the military happens. That was what the post I was responding to suggested.
I object to the idea our military should be used as rehab.
A blanket party is something I do not think you could get by with today.
It was basically a punishment carried out by your peers. The only one I actually knew was in progress was in basic (even though a few others occurred with the Chicago group) was where someone threw a blanket over him, then a bunch hauled him to the showers and he was beaten. A web belt was fastened around him to keep the blanket on long enough for the others to be safely tucked in bed. The goal was complete anonymity thusly avoiding the Article 15 or Courts Martial.
I also heard of it given to suspected CID plants.
This might sound cowardly, but it was a form of peer justice I often heard of in the “old Army”.
