Letter: Cruz, GOP's actions immoral
The Stockton Record ^ | November 8, 2013 | Arne Aasen

Posted on 11/09/2013 6:20:19 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

If Texas Sen. Ted Cruz were in California, we would start a recall on him. Cruz is wasting hard-working Americans' money in our Senate. It was immoral for Cruz and the other Republicans to shut down government to keep Americans from getting affordable health care.

America is tired of the Republicans' hating President Barack Obama so much that they want to keep 50 million Americans from being able to afford health care.

When the health care reform law becomes fully operational it will bring the cost of America's health care down.

In time, we can make changes and put into effect the single-payer Medicare-for-all and go to a publicly funded health care system and do away with the for-profit insurance companies, which is the reason Americans' health care system is the costliest in the world.

Ted Cruz is all about keeping Americans from getting affordable health care.

Well, if bringing down the cost improves health care, then just make it free, and we will have perfection.

And raise the minimum wage to $100 per hour while we are at it.

This is the Marxist's holy grail. It has been in this country since FDR.

Eventually I'm sure they hope to nationalize all the evil corporations so that the government, as our earthly father, can make sure we are all share equally.

Ted Cruz is all about keeping Americans from getting affordable health care.

And I love him for it.

As for Arne, just keep running your mouth. I encourage everyone to sign up for obamacare come election day.

You'll know what to do. If you love what you see, it'll be a landslide for the Democrats.

And if you see you've been sold down the river, it may have a different outcome.

The GOP has been given the greatest and clearest campaign issue in a century. The question is only whether or not they can stop wetting themselves long enough to run on it.

For reasons I don't quite understand, Democrats are running away from it while Repubs are afraid to run against it.

Cruz knows what to do. The rest can take their cues from him or get run over.

But telling people that they can keep the health plan and physician they like, period, when you know you lack the ability or the intention to guarantee it...that’s apparently perfectly moral.

Got it.

We also have the leading technology in healthcare with minimal waiting periods.

I suppose the reader feels a BMW or Mercdes should run the same price as Dodge Neon something along that class.

I've stopped buying the newspaper a long time ago because of crap like this.

Too many people are simply ill-informed.

Arne Aasen sounds Norwegian, in name and in game.

In Texas, he would hopefully have been hanged after a good flogging.

No need to go further than that. Whatever Cali.

A letter to the editor from a dimwit who’s a apparently a voter in the largest American city to file for bankruptcy. After reading his socialist nonsense it’s not hard to figure out how that happened.

The Dodge Dart is now their lead-in vehicle.

The new Mercedes entry-level CLA is only a few shekels more.

I thought we shouldn’t “legislate morality,” so the left is always lecturing us. So, why do they appeal to “morality” now?
