Have you ever seen how much of Asia is in the northern climes?
It gets pretty darn cold in northern South Korea during the winter - I was glad to have been issued a parka and muk-luks.

Yes, and I am NOT amazed at their indoor lifestyle or drinking--speaking of Russians. I have an old friend from North Dakota and she's told me some amazing stories of the cold there. That's why she moved to California when she was young.

At least many of those folks DO play games outdoors--ice hockey and such. Got to hand it to them. I used to read about Tibet (Hans su lin) and could just imagine the cold. Brrrrr.

Thank you for serving.

Thanks for the thanks. My main heritage is Polish so I have cooler weather in my genes. Currently living in S. MS and the summers are as brutal for me as a NY winter. Wife hates the cold so I agreed to stay here if we could make ends meet - was half-way hoping I would have to chase a job a bit further north (central TN would have been perfect).
