The change doesnt affect Krafts plain elbow-shaped macaroni and cheese with original flavor.
Krafts new recipes, which begin shipping early next year, will be for its macaroni and cheese varieties that come in the SpongeBob Squarepants, Halloween and winter shapes. Two new shapes will also be added.
The company said it plans to replace the artificial dyes with spices such as paprika for coloring.

I still won’t buy it. It’s just disgusting.
A good move, presuming they are doing this voluntarily and not under government duress. Those dyes are no good for you.
Exactly what “cheese” are they talking about? LOL!
KRFT’s 3.8% stock dividend is “tasty”. :)
It aint’ worth dyein for...
Kraft Mac & Cheez, "now with extra dye!"
This is interesting, because Paprika is one of the tamest members of the Capsicum family of peppers. But it is still a pepper, for those with pepper allergies.
I have found Kraft American singles to work well as pipe dope, radiator stop leak, silly putty, counter stain, and and all around pest repellant. What I can’t figure out, is how to make it edible.
I agree. It's in so many of the kids' foods too. Maybe there's a trend - they recently took it out of the Gogurt. My grandkids haven't even missed it. LOL! Great post.
Sponge Bob Shit Pants.
Fitting mascot for a company that combines wallpaper paste, orange Crayolas and a ton of salt to produce a tasty treat for the kiddies.
Kraft helps that mom, too busy to raise and feed her kiddies, who just hasn’t time to prepare something that doesn’t come out of a box, a can or a freezer bag.
KD & SPAM.....Yummmmmm.......http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pEOxPDU_fk4/Ttx2NqNlw2I/AAAAAAAAA-0/EtAqYVG_L2A/s1600/IMG_2319.jpg
Indeed. Consumer staples have been sound investments in recent years.
Try adding some dye.
I have found that if you add some milk, butter, and a big chunk of Velveeta Cheese to one of those MAC and CHEESE kit boxes, it tastes pretty good.
Two new shapes will be added. Barack and MOOOOschelle?
This product got me through college....and it is still a bargain at $.075 a metric ton.
