I hadn’t heard of The Violent Femmes, but at one time I sort of liked Blind Melon.

For what it is worth.

Blind Melon, “No Rain”, is a great song, but even the band said it was a “POP” tune that missed the point of the rest of the album.

Understanding the context of this album, I think it is one of the best albums ever produced.
