Glenn Beck on Thursday broached a topic that he said horrified him when it was brought to his attention roughly two weeks ago, describing it as an effort to re-write our history and catalyze a new culture for America with the help of Americas latest propaganda machine.
Beck proceeded to tell his viewers about two groups, the first called Imagining America and the second called The U.S. Department of Arts and Culture.
The latter isnt actually a body of the United States government, but in the groups own words, the nations newest people-powered department, founded on the truth that art and culture are our most powerful and under-tapped resources for social change.

Beck is always horrified. It’s how he makes his living.
And crying helps, too.
Megyn Kelly just had Dershowitz on saying he thinks it was unconstitutional that Cruz threatened to shut the govt. down. Cruz never threatened to do that. Obama did. Check this out (Mark Levin responds at the bottom of the article):
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
You can do an experiment and try following TV-series. If you watch them with a little analysis, the social engineering isn’t hard to pick up. And they’re carriers of ads that are even more blatant social engineering.
Control art critics and directors of art museums. Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.
Look what theyve managed to do to the MUSIC BUSINESS
who was behind getting RAP music into the bigtime anyway? not the AMISH
Beck is always horrified. Its how he makes his living.”
...so you’re not horrified? I am. Beck helps to keep me on track. Don’t ever lose track of how horrifying everything the POSOTUS is attempting to make everything. If we do, we lower our bar.
Actually its a lot worse.
If you have any interest in art of any kind you’ll see that there is a rabid hatred of conservatism that has nothing to do with art. They’ve taken art and turned it into a purely political vehicle for themselves.
Its the same thing they’ve done with science and its incredibly destructive. Imagine if Jonas Sauk were trying to promote his polio vaccine today and made the mistake of expressing a pro life sentiment. The left would destroy him and throw his vaccine in the trash.
It’s easy to stand by and snark.
I see no point in your comment except negativity for the sake of it.
No doubt. And the stuff is accelerating so it looks ludicrous if you’re aware of it, but people seem not to notice at all.
Did you notice that 0bunghole used his bully pulpit to discredit anyone on the internet who disagrees with or opposes him? One more step towards his fascist tyranny over America.
I’m an artist, though I’m ashamed to admit it.
The ‘art world’ is an insular, closed world of bitter schnooks who let themselves be dominated by a core of BS peddlers and politicians.
Artsy types always vote liberal, (though there have been exceptions) believing that the leftists support the arts.
They’ve never seen any evidence of this, art suffers under democratic majority rule. How many classical concerts have you seen Obama attend since seizing power? They hate culture and art.
Liberals are the ultimate Philistines; they see no use for art other than propaganda.
the violent misogynist Variety of cRAP..99 percent of that genre....is so quaint...
reminds me of a Musical Tribute to Norman Rockwell.
the SOBS....get really inspired by that thrash before they go Polar Bear Hunting
I don't know if I would say that but I can definitely call it appropriate. ;-)
