With IQ 106.9 switching to another format, Rush and Hannity are going back to AM radio.
I guess four conservative stations can’t make it in Philly. 1210, 1180, 990 and 106.9.

Not sure why 106.9 didn’t make it - it’s the only FM talker in the city (outside of sports talk). Nice clear signal, sounds great through the speakers. Gonna really miss the sounds of FM talk.
Fortunately 1210 comes in clear where I live (30 miles north west of the city). Just don’t like the sound. That and I really enjoyed not listening to WPHT with Smerconish being in the lineup. Never had a reason to listen to AM radio since 106.9 switched to talk. Maybe I’ll stream it online so i don’t have to listen to them.
106.9 had a weak morning show...but other than that a good lineup.

Obamaconish isn't on PHT any more. He is on POTUS on SiriusXM. Still the same douche on satellite...
How many hosts did they cycle through trying to keep it “local”? Then they started broadcasting Imus in the Morning. If I wanted to listen to a drunk man slur his words and curse, I’d hang out at 30th Street station.
Haven’t listened to WPHT since IQ 106.9 came online. Couldn’t tell you when He who shall not be named left the station.
