Not a breed answer, but a piece of advice. Even though cats are solitary, they do still get lonely. If you get one, please get two. Preferably kittens, so they can grow up together. We’ve always had cats (and dogs, and birds, and chameleons). We never have just one cat. They will amuse themselves while you’re gone during the day.

Enjoy!!

I agree. Get two.

We did get a companion for my Russian Blue. A scrappy snowshoe.

Of course, it like to have destroyed the blue (Festus - was supposed to be Chester because of the limp from broken leg), when his companion died.

Great advice!! Our two blacks are brothers, and we've had them since kittens. The one on the left [if we had the money to do so] we'd clone over and over, and make tons of $$ I think, because he'd make people very happy as he's the most unusually friendly cat anyone has ever seen. The one on the right is lightning fast and has taken care of any mouse issue we've had, quite quickly.

They are the coolest cats in town.

Enjoy your new pet[s]!

I agree, except that cats are NOT solitary at all. They like to live in a group. Please do get two, they need each other.
