The Cletus Readiness Package:
I tend to think that life in the USA will go on in peaceful fashion but that doesn’t mean I won’t be able to answer the brown-shirt knock on my door.
(i) Taurus Judge with multiple quik-loads of 45 ACP and 0.410 sabot slugs (ask me about this load when I answer the front door!)
(ii) 16 guage Semi-auto with “bandalero” buck shot loads back by sabot deer slugs as “swat repellant”. 16-GA cause it is a great bird gun, too.
(iii) double, separate layers of cinder block -no grout-with 2 shooting lanes, intrinsic.
(iv) half-face, grey-canister protective mask (thank you mr. employer)
If I am forced to hunker down (see -iii- and -iv- above) I suspect I will be found watering the Tree of Liberty.
M4
.300 Win Mag
.22 rifle
several semi-auto handguns (.357 Sig, .40, .45, 9mm (only because ammo will be plentiful to pick up))
12 gauge pump
compound bow with arrows when you need to be quiet cooking supper
Three out of five and working on it.
I’d throw in a semi pistol in 9 mm, 40S&W or .45 ACP. Maybe a heavy barrel .300 Win Mag. Otherwise your list is good.
