Dems Say No to Defunding the Ind. Mandate & Ending Subsidies for Fed. Employees? Crushed in 2014

A defunding of the mandate for Big Business has taken place, per Obama, yet hasn't Obama done so in defiance of "the law of the land"?

The same goes for the susbsidies/exemptions that Congress, congressional staffers and all federal employess will get. The law of the land is being defied!

In the spirit of bipartisanship, and so that Republicans will do the same that Obama is doing - and that which Harry Reid and Pelousy so vehemently support - we need additional defunding: defund the individual mandate!

If it's "the law" (ObamaCare, that is), yet Dems support the law being defied with exemptions for Congress/federal employess, and Big Business, then it should also be "the law of the land" pertaining to the individual mandate. WE NEED TO FOLLOW THE LAW.

And what better way than to do so in a bipartisan fashion and do what Dems do - have yet one more exemption: an exemption for individuals.

***If Boehner and other Republicans in the House of Reps all come together and tie 5-6 items to the Continuing Resolution, and the Dems pitch a fit... then the GOP in the House of Reps can counter by going for just two and adamantly not wavering on those two:

1.) Defund the individual mandate - this has majority support across the political spectrum

2.) No subsidies/exemptions for any federal employees. Like Schumer said, just as with green eggs and ham, don't knock it until you try it. And so, with that advice from Chuckie, ALL federal employees should be required to taste of Obamacare and see it it is truly good.

Those two --- if Dems in the Senate go against those two, they will split the Democrat Party and engender the wrath of most Americans.

Period...

I don’t think that Dems in the U.S. Senate have the guts to oppose a one-year delay on the individual mandate being implemented, and oppose ALL federal employess being required to go onto ObamaCare.

If those two are tied to the CR in the next day or two, Dems will blink.

Is this a joke? When has the house leadership demonstrated a spine unless we beat it into them. Much less a plan. Past time far a constitutional convention to eviscerate their power over us.

I would add one more — if the Democrats won’t go for that, remove the authority of the ACA law which allows HHS to grant waivers, and eliminate all existing waivers except for the religeous exemptions, and expand the religeous exemptions.

Sometimes the best way to get rid of a law is to make people live with it.

Send to the Senate whatever the House chooses to send (preferably including complete defunding of Obozocare).

When, predictably, the Senate returns the bill amended to provide the funds for Obozocare, the House should pass a new budget, removing all funding for Obozocare and refusing to fund some favorite Demonrat pork barrel (EPA?, Energy Departmenh? Edumakashun Department? Pick your poison). Make a solemn vow to significantly cut further in response to each act of insolence by the Senate and/or by Obozo in refusing to agree to a House budget.

Each and every time the Senate restores funding for ANYTHING defunded by the House OR Obozo vetoes a House budget, up the ante and remove another $50 billion in rank leftist waste (again and again and again and...) until Obozo and Reid surrender unconditionally. Let the MSM whine all they want but keep on course.

Also vote to repeal the automatic escalator in federal spending that adds alleged inflation or some such to last year's budget numbers. That provision of federal law has been with us for about 40 years now and is the major reason for our hideous levels of federal spending. Condition ANY budget's passage on repeal of that provision.

Money bills MUST start in the House. 800,000 fedgov "workers" (damn few of whom are even nominal Republicans much less conservative) depend absoklutely on that budget for their daily dole. Convince them that the GOP is serious for a change and they will force the Demonrats to surrender.

Other principles of such war against Obozo and his Congressional and Senatorial and media handmaidens should include: Absolute guarantees of timely conventional military pay and facilitation of military voting, border security, an end to sequester of military spending ONLY, and mnore conservative wish list items.

"Republican" dissenting Senators or House members: We're making a list and taking names. This means: Light Loafers Graham, John Cornyn; LAMAR!!! Alexander, Bob Corker, Richard Burr, John McLame, Jeff Flake, Lisa Murkowski, Peter King ("R"-NY), etc.

That’s the way to do it, for sure.

Start by stripping out the more than half a billion dollars that goes to funding the mass murder of little babies.

Do it now.

Indeed there is a list. And a number of these RINOs are going to be sent packing.
