To make you think it’s the new normal... and that you are the weirdo.
Because it's not news. It's propaganda maquerading as news. Has been for quite a while.
He who pays the piper calls the tune.
For the same reason there were so many stories about how good abortion was for women back just after the Supreme Court decision in 1973. They used 'soft' stories about how tough it would be for a woman to carry the baby to term, how awful her life would be if she was 'forced' to have that baby, and how wonderful it was that she had the 'right' to have an abortion.
Now we're being inundated with stories about how wonderful it is that homosexuals are free to be themselves, and how many 'regular' folks are discovering they were homosexual after all. That will soften up the 'low information' folks who will be made to feel so happy for them, and feel mad at anyone who talks bad about those poor homosexuals.
It's manipulation, pure and simple.
To increase its prevalence, so that this 1-3% minority looks like it is bigger than it actually is.
To normalize the behavior, so that it isn’t condemned.
To push social change, so that it becomes equal or superior to normal relationships.
It’s a constant drum beat. First, they say we shouldn’t be concerned about what goes on in their bedroom. Then, they say “Let me tell you all about my sex life.” They are attention seekers at a minimum.
To lay cover fire for AIDS and other disasters brought on by homosexuals.
This is a question for those who own the media. It should be a question just before walking the plank.
