U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalias opinions are often viewed as controversial.
This time, however, a question posed by the Houston Chronicle to the justice elicited an answer that may anger a new group of people football fans in Washington, DC.
Im not really much of a football fan, he told the paper, when asked whether or not he supports the Washington Redskins. To the extent I am, I hate the Redskins. In fact, I always root for Dallas, Scalia replied.

I like Scalia so much that I’m switching to the Cowboys.
Heh! I love Scalia.
Scalia spoke at our rotary club in northern Virginia...he received a standing ovation, even from the lefties...I just can’t bring myself to root for the Cowboys though.
I always knew Scalia was a racist...
No one said you had to be smart to be a SC Justice.
True, look at some of the SCOTUS rulings in the past decade or so to see the truth in it
Scalia is dead to me.
My two favorite NFL teams are the Raiders and whoever is playing the Cowboys.
Why in the world did Tony Romo get the game ball last night. His playing was pathetic? And what does Jones see in him that he pays him $100 million?
Another reason to love Scalia!
As for this: “I always knew Scalia was a racist...”
Pretty good. :)
I give him credit for at least using the term “Redskins.”
They get 6 turnovers and they barely win...doesn’t bode well for their season.
Seriously?
Romo played a nearly flawless game. The INT was not his fault, he commanded his checks very well - read the defense well. The O-line protected him much better than in the past, but he still had guys draped on him.
His release is so quick. He may be among the NFL elite if the Cowboys could put a running game around him. We’ll see how he stacks up not playing from behind and if his line protects him.
He is way better than many give him credit for.
Show us on this doll where Justice Scalia touched you . . . .
I was rooting for Dallas last night.
The saintly Scalia reveals that he has a flaw after all. To hell with Dallas!
