I would have been a little bit impressed if Weiner had let the guy speak his mind, and then said, “If that’s how you feel, don’t vote for me.”

This guy is in he race because it allows him to spend his saved up campaign funds. It is the only reason.
BTW: Note the argument that Weiner thinks trumps everything else: I “delivered.” I.e., I stole money from taxpayers all over the country and brought it to this district.
We are given the ability to reason so that we can discern right from wrong, good from evil. The lefties are happy to abdicate that responsibility, and have given classic Christian teaching a twist to match their own liking, making gods in their own image.

If you mean why is he still a candidate, then the answer is obvious. He needs to justify spending the campaign money he raised. If he drops out, he can't use the money the way he can if he is a declared candidate.
What that piece of human debris has not been ostracized from even wasting our valuable oxygen is beyond me.

He is in the race. He also may win. Either way he wins financially due to the fact that he is simply using his status as a candidate to launder money into his on pockets.
