I got 17 coupons on my CVS register receipt last week.

On occasion there will be a gem in those receipts, but for the most part, there is rarely anything I want or need.
As is with most coupons, those things for sale are pretty much useless to me.

Same thing at Ride Aid, close to 2 feet of receipt for one item. I told the clerk I didn’t want to read War and Peace after buying a 12 pack of Rolling Rock.

Several grocery stores in my area split the coupons and receipt between two printers. So you get you regular receipt and any coupons separate. CVS combines those on to one printer/receipt.

I think they instruct the clerks to tell you that you have coupons. Just in case the endless stream of paper you have to roll up like an extension cord didn’t already clue you in!

My wife is the local CVS coupon queen. Loads us up with a shopping cart full of stuff for $18.00. FULL, I reiterate. All kinds of crap. I have more mouthwash and toothpaste and free razors and dental floss and “male cosmetics” than is needed to survive the zombie Armageddon. I haven’t bought a razor blade in ages and shave every day.
