I was saying the other day how we will all know when high school football has gotten to big for itself and that will be when teams start playing in their own indoor stadiums. I also said that it would happen in Texas. I thought that we would see this someday in the future. That day is now in 2016.

Hank Hill had the right idea, just no money behind it. Looks like the new facility will be two to three times as far away from Cowboy's Stadium than the current one is.

This is the state that just built a 60 million dollar high school stadium.

I played high school football in Texas and at the time, we had the fanciest stadium in the state, but even in adjusted dollars it wasn’t 60 mil.
