For the first time today, since Anthony Weiner began his campaign for mayor of New York, I thought, wow, this guys acts as though he doesn’t even want to win, either that or he’s severely delusional. The more I think about it, it makes sense. Yes, we could be witnessing a sad case of someone in the beginning stages of mental illness or a good old fashioned megalomaniac in search for more personal power, but I don’t really know.

I do know Anthony seems to make a daily habit of making people express anger or contempt at him in public. These New Yorkers do not hold back. Your average polititian would cease and desist after these repeated volleys of in your face rage from his constituents. Some of the most angry people he meets in his daily ‘shout-downs’ are folks who used to support him, but now find themselves disgusted, and disappointed. Anthony almost seems to court the anger. Of course it is possible that he is one of those special people who gets a thrill out of provoking reactions from others. The more pronounced the public speaker reacts to Weiner, the more influential he considers himself to be. There is another possibility to consider which concerns his wife Huma.

Huma’s mother and her brother are said to have close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Could it possibly be that members of the Brotherhood are insisting that Anthony run for this office, because as Mayor of New York, this would provide them with an avenue of direct influence. The Brotherhood knows Weiner has Extreme Dufus tendancies, everbody already knows that. But he still has skill and talent when forced to discipline himself. Even I will admit there were times when I was impressed by his Political Bulldoggery before all the Troubles, that is. Anthony may purposely be trying to do every little stupid, loopy, crazy thing in the book so that he will not be elected and the Brotherhood will not become more deeply embedded into the society. Of course one of their first goals will be to continue the encroachment of Sharia in our schools, and in our laws.

Anthony Weiner is probably is shocked as you and me that so many New Yorkers still want to vote him in ‘as is’. Maybe every time Anthony says he wants to quit the race, just to ‘punish the voters of New York’, Huma whips out her Iphone to look at all the highly recommended divorce lawyers, and compare air fares, how much one for one way tickets to Iran for one adult and one child?
