We were a lot friendlier before the leftists took over all our institutions, and replaced our founding values, free economy and our Judeo-Christian foundation with their secular humanist socialist politically correct directives.
Can’t say enough good things about Savannah. People there unfailingly friendly and polite IMO.
Asheville is friendly? I guess they didn’t bother to visit the Thomas Wolfe home and ask a question of the snooty curator.
The whole island of Bali is very friendly, except for the monkeys near Ubud.
I’ve heard several people positively comment about Florianopolis.
I’d put Valetta Malta somewhere in the friendly list also.
Nice to see that two “Gulf Coast” cities made the cut for nicest: Savannah and Charleston.
i’ve lived in 3 of the unfriendliest, none of the friendliest
that might explain a few things
Bethlehem, ISRAEL used to be VERY friendly.
Bethlehem, palestine, NOT SO MUCH.
Oh heck yeah!
You ask for directions there and they are liable to send you off in the opposite direction out of sheer meanness.
Interesting. Some of the unfriendly ones are big hulking places like LA and Moscow. The friendly ones for the most part are boutique towns of various stripes. Auckland and Dublin might be the biggest of the bunch although some I am unfamiliar with.
Clearly, Conde Nast misunderstands the target audience.
Oakland and Islamabad are very friendly... if you're an anarchist terrorist.
