Actress Tara Reid will not have a role in the Sharknado 2 movie. According to reports the only cast member likely to return is Ian Ziering.
Sources close to the project tell TMZ that meetings in New York led to the decision to cut Reids character.
You may recall that Ziering recently told Access Hollywood that he had reservations about Sharknado because of Tara Reids troubled past. Ultimately he says Reid did a wonderful job

I thought you were joking. But then I looked it up at IMDB! ROFL!
I know of it an and actually watched some...they actually riff on good movies like the Empire Strikes Back, etc.
there is currently a ‘Rift’ between 2 factions of MST3K
Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic.
both are good. but I prefer they be on a scheduled channel and not on line....
I never joke about John Schneider. :)
We watched it up the mountains with about 20 people. It was funny.
“Foam 2” was a fake movie that was a plot device in the 1986 movie “One Crazy Summer.”
I can’t believe I didn’t recognize that. John Cusack, Demi Moore, Bobcat Goldthwait, etc. Great flick.
Better off Dead is another great 80’s Cusack film.
WTF?! They should’ve just killed her off, then.
Plenty of sharks flying around able to do ‘the job’....
Bacon, Ward and Goss in Tremors...and Tremors 2, 3, 4 and the proposed 5 lol
Makes sense in that SyFy always tries to get in a head of "real" or "original" productions with their shoddy lookalike stuff to try to confuse consumers by piggy-backing on to others' marketing efforts.
The next thing you know there won’t be real sharks!
Good Lord, Tremors 5?!?
It’s a good idea for them.
Would your FR name have an influence on that rating?
Actually, no, it’s just one of my favourite movies. That saxophone scene was actually horrid. What you hear was obviously some kind of synthsax, not a real horn. But that doesn’t take away from the overall awesomeness of the movie.
It’s definitely a great flick. I have the DVD...just might have to watch it tonight now.
After several attempts today to watch Sharknado, I finally finished it. The Sharknado deserves the best actor ( not special effects ) Emmy this year. Had to wait through three quarters of the movie just to see the star. The Sharknado rocks.
Now for some points. Tara Reid's “acting” sucked which would be an quite an effort in this movie. Her BF gets eaten by a shark in her living room and she seems unmoved by it for the rest of the movie.
They should have never showed us what happened to the runaway Ferris Wheel. It could of had it's own Sci Fi movie, running over people, sharks, and other things for two hours.
The second one should be set well inland, like Wyoming.
For the record, @TaraReid is awesome and was great to work with in #SHARKNADO. We'd be lucky to have her back for the sequel. That is all!— The Asylum (@theasylumcc) July 29, 2013
